Making Memories
At Legacy Wedding & Photo the experience is all about making memories. I have loved photographing for as long as I can remember. After teaching for many years I decided to step into a new career that had called to me for years. In 2009 I started photographing clients part time, 2014 brought me to downtown Alexandria, and a year later I decided to step out of the classroom & into the studio full time. January 2017 brought the studio home & created a cozy indoor studio where I could easily access the beauty of the surrounding woods & private lake. 2021 brought the studio back to town! I am pleased to be settled into my new permanent home in the Legacy Suite at 220 22nd Ave East in Alexandria while maintaining the outdoor spaces of the home studio including the truck, barn wall, & the grounds.
Our Approach
Since the very beginning Legacy Wedding & Photo Co. has provided clients beautiful archival quality prints and products. Over the years the products have changed a little. In addition to standard paper prints we bring our clients world class products from canvas and metal prints to gorgeous hand crafted Italian albums.
What to Expect
From the first phone call our goal is to be there for our clients. We are available to help you choose your attire and choose your location(s) before your session approaches. On your session day we are so excited to be working with you. While shooting we enjoy having music playing to fit the mood. When we have wrapped up your session we will schedule your reveal and order session where you can come in to see a slideshow of your images, go over them in depth, and create your order. We are happy to help you in your selections. Your order will be in the studio in approximately 14-21 days depending on the products selected. Albums do require a little more time.
